Sara Ferrari was born in Brescia, Italy.
After her graduation at MACHINA Lonati Fshion and Design Institute, she moved to London where she started her collaborations with product and interior design practices such as Michael Sodeau Partnership, Mark Gabbertas and Jump Studios.
In the 2007 the project PAD was selected as a winning entry in the international design competition PLAYING DESIGN and later displayed at various fairs and institutions like the Milan Furniture Fair, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Lissone, and the MIA in Monza, Italy.
At the moment Sara Ferrari is based in London and she works as a freelance designer and writer.
One of the last projects she developed, in collaboration with Jump Studios, was the new product display system that will showcase the Adidas’ 2010 World Cup collection on a global scale.
The project Dining Agenda was part of the Desigboom Mart during the ICFF in NY and it was published in most of the famous design magazines and blogs.
Sara Ferrari is the UK correspondent for CASAresart, ZoomDesign and CaseCosì, three italian magazines about Art, Design and Architecture.
Sara believes that working in a multimedia discipline allows herself to be constantly refreshed by the latest design concepts around the world, helping her to be critical towards her own design process.
